My testimony of what it means to be a Christian is this: I have sinned and because of my sin I cannot fulfill God's law perfectly, and therefore a gap exists that separates me from the presence of God. This gap is filled by God's son Jesus, who is fully man and God, who fulfilled the law in my place, died and rose again, allowing the holy spirit to fill believers, who are saved.
